Terms and Conditions
1. General
By booking a service with Abingdon Plumbing and Heating ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all services provided unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2. Appointments & Access
- Customers must ensure someone over the age of 18 is present at the property during our visit.
- Safe and clear access to the work area must be provided.
- Missed appointments or late cancellations (less than 24 hours' notice) may incur a call-out charge.
3. Pricing & Payment
- All prices include VAT at 20%, unless stated otherwise.
- Fixed pricing is available for many standard services. Where work exceeds the agreed time or scope, additional charges may apply.
- Payment is due upon completion of the work, unless otherwise agreed.
- We accept cash, bank transfer, or card payments.
4. Parts & Materials
- Any materials or parts not held on our vans will be sourced as quickly as possible. These may be charged separately.
- We use high-quality parts, and all new parts are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
5. Estimates & Quotes
- Estimates are provided based on the information available at the time and may be subject to change after inspection.
- Quotes are valid for 30 days and will be confirmed in writing before work begins.
6. Guarantees
- We offer a 12-month workmanship guarantee on all installations and repairs unless otherwise stated.
- Manufacturer warranties apply to all parts and appliances fitted.
7. Liability
- We are fully insured for the work we carry out.
- We are not liable for existing faults or issues unrelated to the work we are instructed to carry out.
- We are not responsible for any damage caused by failure to follow our advice or recommended maintenance.
8. Cancellations
- If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice.
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.
9. Complaints
- If you are not satisfied with any part of our service, please contact us directly so we can resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
- Complaints should be made within 14 days of the work being completed.
10. Data & Privacy
- We will only use your personal information to manage your booking and provide our services.
